Compulsive Reading

Christmas Giveaway

on December 21, 2011

The chaps over at Oo Shirts are offering one of my readers two t-shirts with anything you like on them. I don’t normally go in for giveaways but I thought this was a really nice one as you effectively get to choose what it is. I of course could inflict a Billygean.co.uk: your number one source for colonoscopy chat t-shirt on you, but I don’t think anyone wants that.

The two t-shirts must have the same design on them and be shipped to the same address. Other than that, they can be different sizes, colours and styles. The winner will be required to provide a short review of the t-shirt that I can put on here once you’ve received it.

The winner will be able to design their t-shirts at the design lab. There are some very cool designs. And you can put ANYTHING YOU LIKE. ON A T-SHIRT. Even images! How cool is that!

To enter:

Leave a comment below.

For an extra entry, tweet about this competition providing a link to it. As long as you put @Billygean in the tweet I should see it, unless you’re protected in which case ask me to follow and I will.

For an extra entry, share this post on Facebook (and show me you’ve done so)

For a final entry, suggest a new name for Benny.

So that’s four possible ways to enter.

Rather than choose the best Benny name, I will pick a winner at random at 9pm January 1st 2012.

Good luck!

  1. Neat giveaway! Never heard of them before but it looks like a funky way to get a custom shirt. :) I’m going to suggest that Benny be renamed as, “Toran” — a bit of a fuddling of the Japanese for “tiger” (Tora). :)

  2. Tweeted it and posted on Facebook, too. (you should be able to see them)

We had a kitten called Monty (well, actually he was called Phoebe until an enlightening visit to the vet). As he grew, and grew and grew and is now the size of a small tractor, Monty was lengthened to Monster. So there’s a suggestion if he’s a particularly “big boned” kitty.

    Tweet on the way…

Ooh, fun! I’ll enter (3 times) but I don’t think I can suggest a new name for Benny – I heartily endorse dropping the ‘Bear’ (he will be Benny YourSurname-MindReader’sSurname, obviously) but he is too firmly ‘Benny’ in my mind now!

Oh I like Benny! But I also like Oscar :-)

Hello :) this looks like a cool idea, have made a mental note of the site as I have loads of designs that could go on t shirts :)
Maybe you could call your kitty Benedict, so that he has an air of ‘posh’ about him. For, y’know, when guests visit.
I have tweeted (I am @flamingice48) and shared on Faceybook (http://www.facebook.com/flamingice)
    Happy New Year!
