He makes me very angry and not at all for religious reasons – for the kinds of reasons you outline here.

It is a big pain in the neck that there are so many crap writers who get published and, undoubtedly, good ones that don’t. And good artists that never get recognition. And good actors that never get a break. And good accountants that are unemployed while crap ones still have jobs (probably).
